AAHID and NCIDQ present an experiential night to remember!
Saturday, November 8, 2008 from 7-10pm
Glide across the Potomac River to the old town port of Alexandria to meet your special “spirited” guide, in full historical costume and lantern. Journey through the pages of American healthcare history and mystery until you arrive at our reception at Gadsby’s Tavern, the side of Thomas Jefferson’s Inaugural Ball.
Food, beverage, and entertainment which celebrate AAHID and Healthcare Design await you.
AAHID and NCIDQ present a social networking event to remember. Among our distinguished guests are: President Thomas Jefferson (Tom Pitz), Clara Barton (Mary Ann Jung), Dr. John de Sequeyra (Douglas Cohen) and the 19th Century Phrenologist Professor Orson Squire Fowler (David Keltz) who will be performing actual 19th century phrenology readings of our guests on the premises. It will practically be a movie set as well as a party as these represent just a few of the local professional performance artists we have contracted for your pleasure! In addition, Gadsby’s Tavern is one of the single richest locations in American history. It was the favorite eating establishment of George Washington and served as his headquarters during the revolutionary war. The meticulous restoration and preservation must be seen to be believed.
