Regent Jane Rohde wins Most Innovative Design award!

Access Table helps those in wheelchairs to dine comfortably.

Inspires by seeing her friend struggle to eat at an institutional table, AAHID Regent and Vice-President Jane Rohde designed the “Access Table” which was recognized as a most innovative product of the year by Healthcare Design Magazine.  “After discussing this with Miriam and the other residents, I decided that the table needs to come to the person instead of the person going to the table.” -
