A question from the HCD08 Conference.

Carpet was recommended (during the discussion) instead of broadloom.  However, carpet tile has many open seams that can trap soil, moisture and bodily fluids.  Wouldn’t a better choice be floorcovering with impermeable backings and wielded seams (in order to create a wall moisture barrier) be a better choice?
